Sandra Faye Drennon

Sandra Faye Drennon, 59, of 220 Mill Avenue entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her home.

“Faye” as she was affectionally called by her family and friend was born in Greenwood County, South Carolina on January 17, 1964 and was the daughter of the late Arthur Drennon and the late Mary Thomas Drennon.

She was educated in the public schools of McCormick County and was formerly employed in food services at Lander College.

She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Troy, South Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Shameka Drennon, one brother, David “Ricky” Drennon and two sisters, Mildred Drennon Tate and Janie Pearl Drennon Harrison.

Leaving to cherish her most fond and precious memories are her husband, Glennis Randall of the home; two sons, Demetrius Wideman of the home and Robert Wideman of Greenwood, South Carolina; two daughters, LaQuanda Drennon of McCormick, South Carolina and Cressiah Phillips of the home; three stepsons, Danterrious Randall of Columbia, South Carolina; Deshaun (Neshaszda) Wright of Texas and Devon Wright of Florida; three sisters, Eula (Andrew) Payton Mitosha Drennon and Barbara Brown all of Greenwood, South Carolina; five brothers, Willie (Vanessa) Drennon and Litto Drennon both of McCormick, South Carolina; Bernard Drennon of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; James “Buddy” Drennon of Saluda, South Carolina and Michael Drennon of Greenwood, South Carolina ; six grandchildren and  two great grandchildren. Faye is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Darrell Padgett. The body will be placed in the church at Noon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. For full obituary please see our Facebook and Website Page.
