Obituary
Greenwood, SC- Raymond Phillips, 71, of 634 Giles Avenue, transitioned from earth to heaven on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Albert Curtis Phillips, and the late Elizabeth Jones Phillips.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Raymond (Kimberly Holloway) Kennedy of Greenwood, SC; his lifelong significant other, Patricia Ouzts; two stepsons, Eric Leon Outz of Greenwood, SC, and Kendrick (Candy) Outz of Virginia; one stepdaughter, Kathy Denise Ouzts of Greenwood, SC; one brother, William Phillips of Mauldin, SC; one sister, Carrie Lou Moss of Greenwood, SC; seven grandchildren, four which were reared in the home, Sheanian Ouzts, Jessian Ouzts, Larry Dean Jr., and Kemari Ouzts; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
