Linda Faye Wilson Bussey

Linda Faye Wilson Bussey, 66, of 109 Bintage Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at her home. Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Willie Lee Coates Wilson and the Late Leroy Wilson, Sr. She was preceded in death by a brother Douglas Eugene Wilson, and a sister Patricia Annette Wells. She was a retired Correctional Officer from Leath Correctional Facility. Linda had a love for traveling, music, dancing, and gardening, and loved working on her scrapbook.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Tara (Brandon) Tolbert, of Greenwood; two sons, L.G. (Yeta) Samuel, Jr., of Lexington, S.C., and Kevin Lamar Wilson Samuel, of the home. Her Mother, Willie Lee Coates Wilson, of Cokesbury, Brothers, James Wilson, Spartanburg, S.C., Leroy Wilson Jr., Vincent Wilson, and Zachary 'Tyrone' Wilson all of Greenwood and Alvin Wilson, Hodges; Sisters Juanita Gilbert, Willie Ann Neal, Gwyn Nanetta Wilson, and Gloria Angela Wilson, all of Greenwood and Alberta Marie Wilson, of McCormick, five grandchildren and host of relatives and friends

Services will be held Monday, June 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Cokesbury Baptist Church, with Rev. Melissa Spencer, Pastor and Officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park. Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
