Lena Johnson Harrison Obituary

Lena Johnson Harrison, 73, a resident of South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Born on May 18th, 1948 in Abbeville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John L. Aikens and Sadie Mae Burton Taylor.
She graduated from Job Corps in St. Louis, MO in 1968. She was known by friends and family as "Lena Mae". She found Christ at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Abbeville, SC.  She was employed by Magnolia Manor for 19 years and worked for Self-Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed attending and having yard sales. She was a true definition of a family matriarch who enjoyed taking care of her family. Cooking brought her joy since childhood with her sisters. A strong woman from sunrise to sunset.
She was preceded in death by Lena Baylor Johnson (Grandmother), Brian Harrison (Son), Pamela Taylor (Sister), James Brown (Brother), and Trinity B. Harrison (granddaughter) 
She leaves to mourn her, husband Franklin D. (Pete) Harrison; one son Brandon (Diacy) Harrison of Greenwood, SC; three daughters, Teresa (Nathan) Richardson Baltimore, MD, Tonya Johnson and Allison Harrison, both of  Greenwood, SC; five sisters, Judy (Clifford) Washington of Ravenel, SC, Ruth Caldwell and Miriam Childs, both of Greenwood, Deborah (Willie) Smith of Spartanburg, SC, and Louise Nelson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; ten grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
 Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman.  Viewing will be from 2:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. The family is at the home, 107 Wisewood Circle, Greenwood. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
