Ninety Six, SC- Karen Dorothea Tennant, 60, of 920 Lebanon Church Road, wife of James Douglas Tennant, departed this walk of life on Friday, July 14, 2023, at her home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Connie George Williams, Sr., and the late Verdell Brown. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Hodges, SC.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 38 years, James Douglas Tennant of the home; one sister, Sharon (Arthur) Butler of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 10:00 A.M on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Dr. Bobby Williams. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Public viewing and visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
