Judith Magdalene Williams, 65, of 112 Williams Avenue, widow of Alvin Williams, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. Judith spent most of her years living in Columbus, Georgia. She returned back to South Carolina to stay maybe three to four years ago. She was the daughter of the late Allean Butler Jackson of Ninety Six, and the late Andrew Williams of Greenwood. Preceded in death by the following family members, two sons, Ranado A. Jackson, and Alvin Datoni Jackson; one grandson, TeAlrous DeShawn Robinson; five sisters, Gwen Butler, Betty A. Barr, Elanor M. Thompson, Sherlean Jackson Lewis, and Ruby Campbell James; two brothers, Phillip Ray Jackson, and Rufus Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Jermeka (Irven) Shanta Williams of 306 Holmes Avenue, Greenwood, SC; two grandsons, Jamerio K. Jackson, and Equadre T. Simmons both of Columbus, GA; one granddaughter, Catherine Mims of Phoenix City, Alabama; five great grandchildren, Bayleigh Jenkins, Xalekai Jackson, Camryn Mims, Cayden Mims, and Cain Mims all of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Andrew Jackson of Ninety Six, SC and Eugene Williams of McCormick, SC; four sisters, Annie Jean Jackson, Audrey Smith, Angela Williams, and Rose Fernandez all of Greenwood County, SC; a nephew, Barry Jackson, who was in the home with her; and host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. The only public viewing will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. the day of the service. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
