Jason Lester

Jason Bernard Lester, 45, of 105 Bell Oak Court, husband of Tashiki Hurley Lester, passed on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Joseph “Speedy” Lester and the late Margaret Hall Lester. He was a member of New China Baptist Church and the Five Point Social Club. He was preceded in death by one son, Kiwon Lester.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of Greenwood; two sons, Regis Lester and Stephan Reid, both of Greenwood; five daughters, Je’Schale Lester, Jaida Lester and Kamari Lester, all of Greenwood, Ja’Asia Lester and Jaleyia Lester, both of Anderson; his father of Greenwood; one brother, Tracy(Rokita) Lester of Greenwood; five sisters, Belvin (Rubin) Sutton, Josephine Lester, Evelyn Lester, Debra Lester and Tammy (Keith) Dunlap; eleven grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at New China Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Bennie Crawford. Interment will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park
