Janie Bell Gilliam Sullivan, 93, of Greenwood, SC, widow of John Sullivan passed away peacefully on, Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
She was born on June 5, 1928, in Edgefield, SC to the late Buster Gilliam and the late Sadie Ryans Padgett. She was loved dearly by her family, and she will be truly missed by her family. Janie retired from Capsugel now known as Lonzo in Greenwood, SC. She was the oldest of her siblings, and she was preceded in death by her sister and caretaker, Hattie Weaver and many other sisters and brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sisters, Gussie Mays of Aiken, SC, Essie (George) Barnes of Edgefield, SC, and Josephine (Johnnie) Gallmon of Maryland; special caretaker and niece, Jennifer W. Dotson of Greenwood, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc conducted by Rev. Michael Butler. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family will be at 125 Dunbar Drive, Greenwood, SC (Raintree Subdivision).
