James Alfred White

Greenwood, SC- James Alfred White, 54, of 115 Lupo Drive, husband of Sharon Miller White, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he is the son of Emma Jean White, and the late Otis White. He is a member of Liberty Spring Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States National Guard, and a member of the American Legion “Post 221”. His favorite football team was the “Pittsburg Steelers”, he enjoyed barbecuing, spending time with family and friends, and especially his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of “29” years Sharon White; one daughter, Chanda White of Greenwood, SC two granddaughters, Taraji Gilchrist and Ivori white of the home; three brothers, Thomas White of McCormick, SC, Michael (Cindy) Coates of Greenwood, SC, and William (Katie) White of Arizona; one sister, Tonya White of McCormick, SC; two brother in laws, Corey Miller of Greenwood,SC and Destry (Deborah) Miller of Seneca, SC; two sister in laws, Tasheya (Antonio) Harrison of Abbeville, SC, and Alisha (Richard) Hollis of Columbia, SC; a mother in law, Peggy Ann Miller of Greenwood, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Liberty Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
