Evangelist Gloria Chandler Obituary
Greenwood, SC- Evangelist Gloria Dell Chandler, 88, of 208 Belle Oaks Drive West, widow of Henry Earl Chandler, gained her angel wings on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at her home. Born in Lackawanna, New York she was the daughter of the late Ross Benjamin Tyree and the late Alma Marie Crawford. She was a member of Faith Christian Center Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Earl J. (Janice) Chandler of Abbeville, SC, and Gregory Lamont (Connie) Chandler of Sumter, SC; four daughters, Rosalind Smith of Greenwood, SC, Natalie (Donald) Wright of Florida, Charita Chandler and Colleen (Donnell) Jones both of Greenwood, SC; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; great and great great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Faith Christian Center Church, conducted by Evangelist Earl J. Chandler. Presiding will be Apostle Alvin Deal. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1:00pm-6:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family will be at 2001 Old Laurens Road in Greenwood. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
