Elease Williams Obituary

Greenwood, SC- Elease Coates Williams, 83, of 204 Mosley Road, widow of Robert Lee Williams, departed this walk of life on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Deal and the late Louise Coates Reed. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she was a faithful member, and an Usher.  She is preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Reed Jr., and Willie Coates; and two sisters, Peggy Carroll, and Virginia Reed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Kenneth Lee (Bridgett) Williams of Lexington, SC; two daughters, Angela E. Williams of Florence, SC, and Robbie (David) Seigler of Edgefield, SC; five sisters, Brenda (Edward) Wright of Bradley, SC, Diane Smith, Joyce Henderson, Carolyn Austin all of Greenwood, SC, Carol Grignon of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law,  Doris Kemp, and Lugenia Dean both of Bradley, SC; one brother-in-law, James (Barbara) Williams of Ninety Six, SC; her special care givers, Hattie Robinson, Lasheika Robinson, and Crystal Curenton; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Raymond Adams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
