Deirdre Williams

Deirdre Williams of 1A Highland Apts., died on Friday March 2, 2018. Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of Sarah Williams and Willie Lindsey. He was employed with Amick Farms. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Alice Williams and a paternal grandmother, Ms. Norma Jean Lindsey.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter Deasia Williams; his father and mother of Greenwood; one brother Temarcus Williams; a devoted step-father Mr. Larry Wright; twelve aunts; Barbara (Charles) Lockhart, Diane (Harry Anderson) Brown, Debra Williams, Alice (Wayne Lewis) Williams, Linda Williams, Joetta, Tiffany, Tina, Sirbrennia and Demetris Lindsey, Alfreda Williams, Opfelia Williams; six uncles, Michael Williams, Clifton Holloway of Detroit, MI; Dennis, Carlos, Marcus Lindsey and Chris Williams, all of Greenwood; a great-uncle Mr. George Williams; grandfather, Hugh Charles Williams and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, conducted by Pastor Anthony Sims. The body will be placed in the church at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of his aunt, 522 B Green Street and the home of his uncle on Gilbert Circle.
