Darvin Darcel Johnson

Darvin Darcel Johnson Etheredge, 51, husband of Angela Phillips Johnson Etheredge, of 163 W.E. Smith Road, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at his home. Born in Saluda he was the son of Oscar Lee (Jean) Etheredge and Daisy Johnson.

He was employed with MAU at Lonza and attended Faith Community Church, in Clinton, S.C.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Angela Phillips Johnson Etheredge, of the home; his parents Oscar Lee(Jean) Etheredge and Daisy Johnson of Norristown, PA. three sons; Anthony (Christina) Backus, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Marquis Washington, of Columbia, S.C. and Davaunt Culbreath, of Saluda, S.C. three daughters; Artoya (Kortez) Scott, of Columbia, S.C., Tonita Dozier, of Columbia, S.C., and Shauntell Norris, of Saluda, S.C.. four brothers, Rodney Johnson of Sandston, Va. and Drake (Ree) Johnson, of Chapel Hill, N.C. Johnny Gaines, of Norristown, PA. Daniel Gaines, Royal Ford, PA, two sisters; Linda Johnson Leblanc, of Willingboro, New Jersey and Sonya Etheredge Drexell, of Hill, PA. One god-son, Marcus Johnson, Jr. of Greenwood, One God-daughter Fracyfica Shi Cunningham, Powdersville, S.C., seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memories.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Faith Community Church, in Clinton, at noon with Pastor Keith Cromer, Officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. and burial will follow in Greenwood memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the chapel of Robinson and Son Mortuary for 6-7 p.m.
