Catherine Denise Conner Obituary

Catherine Denise “Neicie” Conner, 62, of 701 Tabor Street, departed her walk of life on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Magnolia Manor of Greenwood. Born in Greenwood she was the daughter of the late Willie Mahoney and the late Bennie Mae Connor. 
She was raised by her great aunt Ms. Fleter Whitlock and she was employed by Magnolia Manor for 13 years as head cook and never missed a day. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and she was a loving person with a smile to match.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her great aunt, her brother Johnnie Conner and a sister Beatrice Neal.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son Demarcus Conner, of the home  three sisters; Vera (Bennie) Lewis, Pamela Conner, of Greenwood and Gloria Conner, of Charlotte, N.C. three grandchildren, one aunt; Catherine (Roland) Baldwin, of New York, a devoted sister-in-law, Marylin R. Conner, of Greenwood and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her memories. 
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 11AM, at Macedonia Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ankoma Anderson. Viewing will be 1-6 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
