Obituary
Bennie Johnson,83, of Greenwood, SC, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Self Regional Hospital. He was the son of the Late Gladys Johnson and Mary C. Johnson and the bonus son of Robert Washington. He is preceded in death by his late wife Trudie Ann Johnson, two sisters Vivian Witt and Verzina Andrews. He was also a Vietnam War Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Demetrece Johnson of the home; one sister in law & Niece of the home Audrey Hearst & Chyna Carter; two grandchildren Chelse (Joshua) Goodman and Larry (Arienne) Anderson Jr.; two great granddaughters Aubree & Liana Anderson; One brother Ed (Velma) Johnson; two sisters Ruby (Billy) Hill and Lena Mae (James) Jones; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Dr. Derrick Scott. There will be no public viewing. The family is at the home of a grandson, Larry Anderson Jr., 201 Woodland Way, all week from 2-7 p.m. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
