Arthur James Coleman

Arthur James Coleman, 71, of 3531 Ridge Road, Hodges, SC, husband of Dorothy Mae Coleman, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Hodges, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Earl Albert Coleman, and the late Cora Lee Quarles Coleman. He was a member of the House of Reconciliation in Hodges, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Cora Coleman, and his sister, Shirley Cohen.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Dorothy Mae Coleman of “52” years of the home; one son, Ricky Coleman of Hodges, SC; one daughter, Ivey (Jamal) Sanders of Hodges, SC; two brothers, Jeffrey Coleman of Greenwood, SC, and Earl (Theresa) Coleman of Clinton, SC; one sister, Rosemary (Randy) Kearse of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Jordan Coleman, and Jacob Sanders; the Tinker family who he cherished very much; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the House of Reconciliation (210 Pansy Road, Hodges, SC), conducted by Pastor Reginald I. Campbell. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
