Andy Phelps

Andy Phelps, 67, husband of Debbie Ann Phelps, resident of Hinesville, MD, passed away on February 24, 2024 at his home.  Born in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of the late Guy Phelps, Sr. and the late Angeline Waller Phelps. He is preceded in death by two siblings, Jimmy Blackwell, and Nathaniel Cohen.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of the home; children, Lorenzo (Akanda) Klugh, Decorius Phelps, and Delante Phelps; his siblings, Guy (Blanca) Phelps, Jr. of Hinesville, MD, Brenda Aiken, Bobby Cohen and Harry Phelps, all of Greenwood, Henrietta Phelps, Nancy (Issac) Phelps Tate, Vincent (Savagha) Phelps, Tamara (Justin) Phelps, and Nafessa Phelps; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services are 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery.  Public viewing will be from 1:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.  Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.  J.B.
