Aline "Alene" Norman Ouzts

Greenwood, SC- Aline “Alene” Norman Ouzts, 93, of 118 Norman Road, widow of Wilbert Ouzts, entered into eternal rest on Monday February 27, 2023, at Edgefield County Healthcare. Born in Lincolnton County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Norman Sr., and the late Allean Norman. She was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church, Women Aide Society #69, and she was the last immediate survivor of her family. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Lillie Rew Williams, Mattie Lewis, and Luna Ella Norman; and two brothers, George “June” Norman Jr., and Nelson Norman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son Johnny Frank Norman of Greenwood, three grandchildren, Sandra (Howard) Smith, and Quenetta Jones both of Greenwood, and Jordan Johnson of Fort Mill, SC; six great grandchildren, Tavares Smith of Marietta, GA, Shaniqua Smith of Columbia, SC, Kaniya Jones, Ka’Maury Watson, Khasyia Jones, and Ka'milia Watson all of Greenwood, SC; Onekia (Malik) Jones Carter who was treated like a grandchild; two special caregivers, Sharita “Renae” Freeman, and Mary McCauley; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the Evening Star Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Willie Norman, and Presiding will be Rev. Joseph Caldwell. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
