Tori Rush

Tori Rush, 42, of 417 Piedmont Avenue, husband of Christy Rush, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the home of his sister Yolanda Rush. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of James Rush and the late Cynthia Hackett Rush. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in the Promised Land Community, and he worked at Eric Terry Concrete Finisher.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of the home; one son, Tori Rush, Jr., of NC; two daughters, Torianna Rush and Hayden Rush, both of the home; his father James Rush of Greenwood; two brothers, Jerverni R. Rush of Atlanta, Ga and James T. Rush (Angela) of Greenwood; one sister, Yolanda Rush (Michael) Archie of Greenwood, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at The Little River Multicultural Center. The body will be placed in the center at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home and at the home of his sister, 509 Florida Avenue.
