Robert O. Fisher

Robert O. Fisher, 81, of 123 Empire Circle, husband of Lillie Mae Kinard Fisher, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late John Henry and Mary E. Fisher. He was a member of Young’s Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the trustee board, senior choir, and the pastor’s aide committee. He is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of the home; one son Robert Stanley (Stephanie) Fisher of Simpsonville; one daughter, Tanzy Fisher of the home; two sisters, Lois Martin of Epworth and Elizabeth Baylor of Greenwood; two grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Janie Pearl Fisher of Greenwood; one brother-in-law, Paul Mathis of Epworth and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Young’s Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Jerry Brown. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park
