Melody Chantal Blocker, 29, of 115 Klugh Street, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of Ernest Blocker and Debra Coleman Bluford. She was a 2009 graduate of Emerald High School and attended Piedmont Technical College. She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Gladys Blocker and a maternal grandmother, Martha Coleman.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Kanavia Wright of Greenwood; her father of Anderson; her mother and step-father, Henry Lee Bluford, Sr. of Laurens; one brother, Tyrone Blocker of Anderson; one sister, Tiffany Ann Blocker; maternal grandfather, James Coleman of Ware Shoals; two aunts, Donna Coleman of Greenville and Danielle (Teddy) Smith of Simpsonville; two cousins, Jayden and Janelle Smith of Simpsonville and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services are 11:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Rev. Tony Cunningham. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cross Hill. There will be no public viewing.
