Lesa Warren Obituary

Lesa J. Warren, 45, of 210-A Taggart Street, wife of Douglas Warren, died on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Odell Jennings, Sr. and the late Sarah Freeman Jennings. She was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church and was employed with Greenwood Rehabilitation Center.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of the home; one son, Douglas Deraill Jennings of Greenwood; two brothers, Ernest Odell Jennings, Jr. and Ronnie Douglas Jennings, both of Greenwood; three sisters, Doris Barr, Janet (Alonzo) Williams and Carolyn Jennings, all of Greenwood; one grandchild that was reared in the home, Sharvis Phillips; step-mother, Elnora William Jennings; step-brothers, Jerry (Gwen) Williams, James (Janis Sue) Williams and Lawrence (Janet) Williams; step-sisters, Lucile (Joe) Morgan, Mamie (Floyd) Nicholson, Brenda (James) Hawkins, Gladys (Delaney) Smith, Jessie Mae Rapley and Betty (David) Henry and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Cross Road Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
