Johnnie Ruth Forrest

Johnnie Ruth Forrest, 88, of 102 Posey Street, widow of Fate Forrest, Sr., passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at her home. Born in Ninety Six, she was the daughter of the late Joe Andrews and the late Hurley Bates Andrews. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she participated on the missionary society and was a member of Harley Subdivision Community Club. She was preceded in death by a son, Fate Forrest, Jr., a brother, William Andrews and a sister, Clara Bell Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Ronald (Carrie Lee) Forrest of Greenwood and William Terry (Linda) Forrest of Washington, DC; one daughter, Linda Diane Whitted of Washington, DC; one sister, Jonell (Charles) Johnson of Denver, CO; a total of twenty three grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, conducted by Reverend Raymond Adams. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 am, with family receiving friends at this time, until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Enoree Zion Baptist Church Cemetery
