Joe Lee "Bap" Hentz

Joe Lee “Bap” Hentz, 92, of 112 North Hospital Street, widower of Bennie M. Terry Hentz, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at his home. He was the son of the late Willie and Henerietta Hentz, was a member of Piney Grove A.M.E. Church and he retired from Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters; Joyce Hentz, of the home and Janice Wilson of Hodges; three sons, Donnie, Joe N., both of Greenwood and Edward Hentz, of Ninety Six; two sisters, Hattie Carroll and Pauline Scott, both of Greenwood and seventeen grandchildren, two that were raised in the home, Antwan and Tiesha Hentz, and twenty-four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memories.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the chapel of Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. at 11 AM, with Rev. Harry Mansel, officiating and Rev. Jennifer Brown, presiding
