Jessie Bell Clinkscales

Jessie Bell Clinkscales, 77, of 221 Carolina Avenue, wife of the late James Clinkscales, passed away on November 9, 2019 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Verdery, she was the daughter of the late Joe Belcher and the late Sara Kennedy Jones. She is preceded in death by one brother, Shepard Jones and one sister Lena Mae Calhoun.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Brenda (Homer) Lee of Charlotte, NC and Gloria Williams of Spartanburg, SC; one sister Geraldine Carter of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Service are 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at United House of Prayer, conducted by Elder S. Dye. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends for quiet hour from 11:00 am until time of the service. Burial will follow in the Ninety Six Community Cemetery.
