James Johnson

James Johnson, 63, of 3411 Ridge Road, husband of Betty Johnson, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, SC. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late James Johnson II and the late Dorothy Rouse Johnson. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of the home; four sons, Robert T. (Stacey) Young of Hodges, Derrick Young of Greer, SC, Jamie Norman of Greenwood and James D. Johnson of Fountain Inn; one brother, Ronnie Johnson of Greenwood; four grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are 1:00 pm on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church (Coronaca), conducted by Rev. Otis Cunningham. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
