George U. Searles

George U. Searles Sr., 84, of 1511 41st Street, husband of Fannie Cannady Searles, passed away on October 15, 2019 at United Medical Center in Washington, DC. Born in McCormick, he was the son of the late Lonzie and Viola Searles.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, a brother and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are noon on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Springfield AME Church in McCormick, SC, conducted by Rev. Taylor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
