Elane L Stewart

Elane L. Stewart, 66, of 427 East Cambridge Avenue, Apt. F, widow of James Stewart, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Joe Stewart and the late Geneva Outzs Lockhart. She was an administrative assistant for Self Regional Medical Center and was a member of Dunham Temple CME Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Michael (Kisha) Johnson and Rodney Lockhart; four daughters, Gail Lockhart, Latonga (Jerry) Johnson, Sonya Johnson and Brittany Lockhart; one brother, Joel Lockhart; five sisters, Mary Syrkett, Eula Brook, Betty Thomas, Susie (Robert) Griffin and Geneva Brook; eighteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., December 17, 2017 at Dunham Temple CME Church, conducted by Rev. Melissa Spencer. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery.
