Diondre Jamal "DJ" Fisher, 19, of 26 Newport Drive, departed this earthly walk of life on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Palmetto Health Richland. Born August 11, 1999, in Greenwood, he was the son of Broderick and Yolande Renee Fisher Anderson.
DJ was a graduate of Richland Northeast High School class of 2017, and a freshman at the University of South Carolina at Aiken majoring in Psychology. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the youth department.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Fuller Fisher, maternal great-grandmother, Nannie Mathis Fisher, paternal grandfather John Anderson and Carl Polite, Jr..
He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents of the home; two brothers, Broderick "BJ" Anderson, Jr. and Charles John "CJ" Anderson, both of the home; one sister Joy Polite, of California; grandparents Charles and Cathy Fisher, of Promised Land, Muriel Anderson, of Columbia, Blondell Polite, of Kline, SC, and Carl Polite, Sr. of Aiken, SC; great-grandmother Bessie Moore, of Columbia; his godparents Winston and Tamika Fisher, of Columbia, SC; aunts and uncles Cheryl Anderson, and Deanna Cooper, both of North Carolina, Caan and Lupita Polite of Arizona, Craig Polite of Colorado, and Christopher Polite of Kline, SC; a faithful and loving caregiver Mary Ann Hart, Irmo, SC, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services for D.J. will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 2 PM at South Main Baptist Church, with Bishop Emanuel Spearman, officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the family house at 380 New Market Street on Friday evening
