Deborah Jean Gilliam

Deborah Jean Gilliam, 63, of 306 Grove Street, Apt. 4-G, died on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Bennie C. Coats Sr. and the late Eddie Lee Williams. She was a member of Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Corey N. Gilliam of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Kimberly D. Gilliam and Tara M. Gilliam, both of Greenwood; two sisters, Donna M. Coats and Stephanie Coats, both of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Flint Hill Missionary Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Christopher Gantt. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
