Cody Alex Hawkins

Cody Alex Hawkins, 24, of 704 Keisler Drive, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Maceo and Ethel Hawkins Smith and the late Edward Mickens. He also had a special father, Clifton Martin. He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church on the Laurens Highway.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Cameron Amir Hawkins of Greenwood; his mother of Greenwood; his grandmother, Grace Hawkins of Greenwood; three brothers, Brandon Hawkins of Greenwood, Letrielle Wells of Sylacauga, AL and Christopher Reid of Abbeville; seven sisters, Labritney Hawkins and Miracle Smith, both of Greenwood, Nakenya (Thomas) Addis of Olanta, SC, Lachelle McFadden, Alisha (Daniel) Baird and Felicia Mickens, all of Lake City, FL and Lakeida Wells of Winnsboro, SC, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are 11:00 am on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Kimberly Martin. Presiding will be Pastor Robert Knox. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in The Evening Star Cemetery. The family is at 113 Richard Street.
