Charlie Jones Jr.

Charlie Jones Jr., 70, of, 510 Magnolia Drive, husband of Kathleen Gilbert Jones, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Emma Lee Bowie Robinson and the late Charlie Jones Sr. He was a member of Pine Grove A.M.E Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of the home; two sons, O’Broderick Sanders of Taylors, SC, and Terence (Jaqualia) Jones of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Latoya (O’neal) Crawford of Greenwood; his mother of Greenwood; two brothers, Alan Hackett of Greenwood and Curtis Robinson Jr. of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Emma Jean (Rev. Clarence) Moton of Anderson, SC, Angela Robinson of Columbia, SC, and Andrea Robinson of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are noon on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Pine Grove A.M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. Arthur Kemp. Presiding will be Pastor Jennifer Brown. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
