Carrie Bell Parks, 53, of 305 Klugh Street, widow of Eddie James Parks, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 10, 2018 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Louise Tennant Martin and Bobby Martin and also was reared by the late Eddie Harrison, Sr. She was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Harrison.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Eddie (Nicole) Martin of Greenville and Tony (Ashley) Martin of Greenwood; two daughters, Moneak (Tim) Martin and Keisha (John) Martin, both of Greenwood; four brothers, Keith (Sabrina) Martin and Eddie (Andrea) Harrison, Jr., both of Greenwood, Frankie "Wayne" Wardlaw of New Jersey and Eartha (Samantha) Harrison of Columbia; three sisters, Belinda (Ben) Garrett and Kimberly (Charles) Harris, both of Greenwood and Dora Cade of Ware Shoals; eighteen grandchildren; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church in McCormick, conducted by Pastor Michael Butler. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
